This is the January 2010 “costoon” of the WASHCost India calendar with cartoons. Its central theme is the COST of providing sustainable and equitable WASH services in rural and peri-urban areas, shown by carTOONS that offer humor on this serious subject. These COSTOONs highlight the hidden dimensions of costs in the wash sector. This nice calendar is produced by WASSAN and the India WASHCost team. January 2010 addresses affordability of the WASH models from a male and female perspective.
