Exposure visit to Gujarat triggers new strategies - Minister tells local newspaper

During an exposure visit in December 2009, MV Rama Chandrudu had an exclusive interview with Mr P Vishwarup Honourable Minister on various issues related to the WASH sector. The Minister also shared this interview with SAAKSHI, a Telugu news paper. SAAKSHI covered the highlights of this interview in the paper on 16th Dec 2009. WASHCost India organized an exposure visit to Gujarat state (2nd to 5th Dec 2009). Mr P Vishwarup, Honourable Minister (Rural Water Supply and Sanitation), Mrs Chitra Ramachandran IAS, Secretary (RWSS), Mr Rajeshwara Rao EnC (RWSS) and other senior officers from the department participated in the exposure visit. Dr Snehalatha, Country Director; Dr Rama Mohanrao Consultant and MV Rama Chandrudu WASSAN joined from WASHCost India team.
