WASHCost Burkina Faso Committee

In Burkina Faso, the WASHCost committee is the task force of the learning alliance. It is involved in the project activities and reviews issues related to the research. The committee has contributed to the country methodology elaboration after many meetings. The first pilot test of the CIF (Common Information Framework) in the course of December 2008 and January 2009 was carried out by a group comprised with the project team and the research group which is an emanation from the committee.

The two top dedicated members at the moment are:

Early 2009, Burkina Faso WASHCost committee met for its first session of the year. It was an opportunity for the country coordinator to draw a short balance sheet of the past year in order to highlight the main achievements of the inception phase. The reminder of the project objectives was intended to inform the new members since it is difficult to get the same participants during the meetings. The selection of the project areas, the amendment of the ToR of country advisors, some research orientations among others, are part of the discussed subjects.
