Burkina and Ghana: sharing water and approaches
Burkina Faso and Ghana are the two closest countries in the WASHCost project. Not only are they neighbours, they even share some water basins and river such as the Black and White Voltas. Now the countries have pledged themselves to work more closely in approaches to data collection and methodology.
Interaction with sector actors enhances WASHCost research process
The cooperation with the project Autogestion de l’eau potable et assainissement en milieu rural dans quatre provinces du Burkina » (9ACP CR) has resulted in the sharing of very relevant information for the WASHCost research and the establishment further linkages in the WASH sector.
Talks about the roles of partners during the Burkina Faso WASHCost scaling up phase
Another step forward for WASHCost Burkina Faso was made on 5th October 2009 concerning the embedding and preparation of the scaling up phase. It was the official launch of the talks with research and academic institutes of Burkina Faso, partners during the scaling up phase of the research activities.
