Learning Alliance Process in WASHCost Burkina Faso

Learning Alliances (LA) is one of the main instruments of the WASHCost project in Burkina Faso. It aims to ensure the project’s impact at scale and it is the first time that the concept has been used in the Burkina Faso WASH sector. LA Process looks at lessons learned and the follow-up performance of the process.

Regional learning: Ghana and Burkina Faso team up
The Ghana and Burkina Faso teams have decided to work together regionally within WASHCost to improve the regional capacity.
First learning alliance meeting in Burkina Faso, 2009
In January 2009, the WASHCost project in Burkina Faso hosted a training workshop for the LA members. The workshop was based around 'The strategic and participative planning for improved water governance'.
